Ohhhh, I just loved those Maybeline Roll On Glosses in the natural scent, which was a lot like cake icing!

Oh yeah it was in a package. I had the clear mint one. The roll on bottle was clear glass. I don't remember if it was Maybeline, Cover Girl or from Coty.

I used to call it "my 5th grade lip gloss", even when I was still wearing it in high school!!

Oh, I miss my 80's lip gloss! Loved the mint and lemon ones! I'd still want a bottle, nothing gives shine (and moisture, really keeps your lips soft!) like that lip gloss did! I don't understand why they stopped making them altogether!!! Think I got my first ones in around 1978-79, then used them until around 1985 or so...

maybelline kissing potion was THE lip gloss to have in the 80s! i also remember another roll-on lipgloss that was popular that NOONE seems to remember called "wet lips" and i remember it had a pair of lips on the front and the bubblegum flavor was yellow. does anyone remember those? they were popular and i know i cant be the only one that remembers them. usually you can find forums with girls reminicing about beauty products but i havent seen anything about wet lips which is insane! i know this is about lipgloss but there was also a breath spray that was popular called 'sweet breath". they still make sweet breath breath spray, but its NOT the same kind!

OMG just found a bottle with my HS stuff! Strawberry, still has the amazing scent and wet sticky gloss. Kissing Potion was the stuff back then, takes me back to old times.

Bubblegum was the best!!!

I disagree with the idea that it's only for women in the 80's men used it too
