Yes! Totally remember these. I had one with ladybugs, another with frogs, and my favorite, which had blue whales.

I'm sure I wore a few printed turtlenecks in the 80's but had not seen them in years until my friend's sister (only like 40 years old, not elderly) popped up wearing a Christmas tree print turtleneck, cracked me up.

I remember these turtlenecks. During my elementary school years, my favorite thing to wear to school were windsuits with a turtleneck. I wore windpants to school a lot since I didn't wear jeans and I loved the swishy sound and I wanted to myself swishy when my legs rubbed together. As soon as the colder weather hit, I was in a complete windsuit with a turtleneck fulltime. I loved being in the complete suit because when I walked my arms would rub against my jacket and my legs rubbed together, making swishy more. I had many printed turtlenecks, flower printed turtleneck, a star printed turtleneck, a lady bug printed turtle neck, a smiley face print turtle neck, a turkey print turtle neck, a Christmas tree print turtleneck, an Easter egg print turtle neck, a snow flake printer turtleneck, a snowman print turtleneck, a ginger bread man print turtleneck, a pumpkin print turtle neck and a shamrock print turtleneck. I wore my holiday themed turtlenecks close to that certain holiday and on days we had our class parties. I always had my jacket zipped up to the cleavage level and the turtlenecks made me stand out in my windsuits, especially white turtlenecks.

When I was in school, my best friend loved turtlenecks. She had solid color turtlenecks and turtlenecks with designs on them. She always wanted her turtlenecks feel like they were part of her outfit. After she saw other students and teachers coming to school in turtlenecks and windsuits, she decided that the suits would be the prefect thing to wear with turtlenecks. It wasn't no time before she went out and purchased a lot of windsuits. One day she came to school in a black turtleneck and a navy, dark green, and black color blocked windsuit. I came to school in a red and black windsuit and a white tee shirt. She said she found the prefect thing to wear her turtlenecks with and she loved her new outfit combo. Patti decided that she would be wearing turtleneck and windsuits all through the mid fall weather and all through winter. Since she liked sweatpants, she decided to trade all her sweatpants in for windsuits. And she would be wearing windsuits starting in the fall with a white tee shirt until it got cold enough to get in a turtleneck. She wanted me to consider wearing turtlenecks so we could pick days to wear the same outfit like other kids and their friends did. I decided to try and she decided to wear the same outfit as me when I wore a turtleneck. So, we both wore a white turtleneck with purple flowers and a purple windsuit. We had a lot of places to go that day and we'd be swishing around. We had to go to our classrooms before first period start. I liked turtlenecks and decided that I join her and stay in the turtleneck and windsuit combo too. One day we had a field trip and we decided to wear our favorite outfit. That was a navy and light pink windsuit and a light pink turtleneck. Some of our friends asked us how we managed to dress alike. My best friend answered, "I got one and she got one. And we pick days to wear our favorite outfits together."

When I was in school, my friend Patti wore turtlenecks with designs on them. But, it was very rare because we both wore windsuits all the time. We always looked forward to late fall weather because we could wear them full time, instead of a few times a week. When we were in a windsuit, we wore turtlnecks but they were a solid color. Most of the time, we both wore white turtlenecks. When we came to school, we'd have our jackets zipped up to the cleavages level if we were wearing a windsuit that was a solid color. But, if we were wearing a color blocked suit, we'd have our jackets unzipped.
