I'm wearing some Vision Street Wear shoes as I type this. I have not seen the clothing other than one T-shirt since the early 90's, but the shoes are back on the market. I'm into BMX flatland/street instead of skateboarding, as a serious rider these shoes held up much better than similar Vans or Airwalk products. Soles on canvas were better than soles on suede, but suede were more expensive so perhaps more fashionable.

Around 1989-1991 I thought Vision Street Wear was the coolest, all of the skater boys wore it. MTV paired up with VSW and had a line of really cool t-shirts but they were pretty expensive, like $20-24 each in 1990. I wore them until they fell apart!

I miss the ska8tr days.VSW and Vans were everywhere.We had over 20 kids at one time sk8'n.Our town was a total pop of 1200 people.I am 35 this year,still have my jason lee board.I am going to build some launch ramps this summer,and start sk8'n again.

Yeah Im looking for a VSW t-shirt at the moment , thats how i stumbled on to this site...Man 1989 was ther year and vision was just as important in the skate world as powell, santa cruz, and vans...its a part of skate history.

Here I am again,looking for some sweet threads!I wear almost daily,is the following,blue jeans,with some worn spoets sometimes,black and white Chuck Tays,Plain white Hanes T,and My Independent truck company hat.I dont have the knees to sk8 anymore,but my 2009 Nightster Harley has the screaming hand,Santa Cruz Sticker on it.I see alot of younger kids wearing the same stuff that I do,they think I'm cool,I just havnt changed.funny how styles come back.

VSW, jimmy Z, Catchit, Oniell, body glove, Dr Zogs sex wax, billabong, quick silver, Oakley, Oakley glasses with Croakys, Revo's, etc... Sold all the great, fun surf wear from a surf shop in Ocean City MD back in 87/88... Don't forget your MR Ducks Ts & sweatshirts!! Loved the summers in college.
