Traffic Sportswear (NYC) started making Fashion Denim Jeans domestically in El Paso Texas, using new fabrics such as Off the wall canvas. As there business grew, they began manufacturing Jeans from Hong Kong which allowed them to mass produce and offer a wider range of denims and styles. Traffic had a very keen eye for copying some of the most trediest fashions from all over the world and put their name and flair on it. The had a huge following in the metropolitan area of New York. One of the biggest styles ever produced was that of the Fold over waist jean with a button up fly. This was done with Acid wash denim mixed with check or stripe details on the foldover and cuff. Stretch denim jeans was a big part of their fashion especially for the New york market. Traffic was foiund in stores such as Macy's, Canadians, Jean Country, and many speciality stores. Fashion jeans out sold basic 5 pkt denim jeans during these times. It wasn't until the mid 90's that the basic jean started making its comeback due to fashions on TV shows like friends that showed on basic styles to prevent TV shows from dating themselvges for re-runs that fashion jeans started on there decline.

Did anyone have the style with the removable Suspenders

I just found this killer vintage Traffic Jeans jacket. It is largely bright orange, with teal and yellow accents. I am dying to know more about this jacket and if there are other variations.
