Abba Zabbas are the best when frozen. Try it, they get real brittle and soften in your mouth. They should have left the wrapper the original yellow.

Abba Zaba (actual spelling) taffy is a product of the Annabelle's Candy Co. in Hayward, California. 1949, founded. Abba Zaba wasn't created until about 1963. About 15 varieties of taffy have been available. One of note was the Sour Taffy, which had a dopey-looking cartoon boy's head on the wrapper (1969).

Rob Lambert has great knowledge. Hayward, Cali in '49? That, friends, is research. Jim Rockford just a kid. Rocky walked him to Sunday School. Hope it wasn't a waste of shoe leather.
