Is this for real?! Never heard of it but would like it I'm sure. Kool-Aid was always on Good Times with JJ. He'd break out the Kool-Aid for special ocasions! James Almos died on the show but lived in real life. Great '70s TV show, but not up there with All in the Family or Get Smart!

i was totally addicted to this! couldn't believe (at the time) they stopped making it. still can't figure out why? i couldn't have been the only one drinking it, right???

It was called apple sass drink mix. Not sure why it was discontinued, we drank it by the gallon. Would love to know where to find something comparable today

my sister works at a grocery store and said theyre starting to stock some of the old time flavors and that she thinks apples going to be one of them. theyre being made by a company licensed by kraft foods to bring back all these old flavors.she said shell let me know if or when apple comes back and shell steal me a couple packets.

I remember an incident with Apple Kool-Aid, & I think it is why it was discontinued. I was about 10 or so, 3rd-5th grade. We had left a jug of apple kool-aid in the fridge at my dad's work & forgot it for a couple months. When we went back to drinking it, it had 'turned'. My dad & his co-workers finished that afternoon having hard cider, basically. I've talked to both my parents about this some years ago, and they both remember it too. It had something like 10% natural juice, that coupled with sugar & time, it fermented.
