Description
A Bubbalicious invention (I'm pretty sure - I get Bubbalicious and Bubble Yum mixed up). Came out in 85 or 86. Part of a new line of '2-in-one' flavors put out by the company. Hot pink strawberry-flavored gum wrapped around a bright yellow square of banana-flavored gum. It was delicious - super sweet! - and looked great in the palm of your hand (unchewed, that is).

Was this the kind with the strawberry in the middle and the banana on the outside or vice versa? If so that stuff was great! The best flavor they ever made!
It was Bananaberry Split and it was delicious! I had a boyfriend in 8th grade who chewed it all day, and when we would kiss it was so yummy, hmmmmm! XD
it was made by bubble yum. bananaberry split they called it. this was one of the only flavors ever worth buying! I've looked everywhere for it. Where can it be purchased if it can?

Sweet Niblets
A few weeks ago, I found a piece of wrapper from this gum in my parents basement, lol.
FYI- When I say "wrapper" I mean the outer packaging not the paper that actually touches the gum.
Yes it was BananaBerry Split, and it was AWESOME!!! That and Bubblicious Shockin'Sherbet! Anyone remember that one? Both flavors rocked!
I can't find the BananaBerry Split at all I looked every were for it in danville,IL and can't find it at all..
We wouldn't be on here wasting our time if they'd quit taking all the good stuff off the market.Please bring this gum back,it was so yummy
I've been looking for that gum since i gradusted 6th grade....lol I'm 34 now! That was the best gum EVER....They need to bring it back..and it was licioius not the yum ;)
correct, it was called BananaBerry Split. there was also a green and yellow one.
The green & yellow version was LYMON! (Lemon-lime.) Loved them both!
I remember Shockin' Sherbet. I used to chew it all the time as a kid. I have to agree with AIS that is one of the best flavors ever! Period. BUbblicious was dumb to let that flavor go.

BananaBerry Split was and still is my favorite gum ever! I am constantly looking for it. I REALLY hope they re-release it. It will be a BIG seller. I used to buy a pack or 2 a day and if it comes back out I will buy stockpiles of it. MMMMMM! Let's get a petition going for them to sell it again
It (along with Luscious Lime) was made by Bubble Yum and came out in 1986

Bananaberry Split was one of my favorite gum flavors from the 80's. Plus, Hubba Bubba made a cola gum that was great, Bubblicious had soft drink gums with liquid centers, and one of the major brands had chocolate mint gum that was to DIE for
It was the best Bubble Yum flavor ever...I would go through packs and packs a week! I wish they'd being it back!
