I love these, so do my kids! We can still find it in some small, out of the way stores. They even still come in the long neck bottles.

They still sell this stuff almost everywhere in Kentucky.

Big Red is still very prevalent in the South. Goes fantastically with barbecue.

Easy enough to find in Ohio. I was under the impression they were going national. The only soda that tastes like red. Really good in an ice cream float. It doesn't really taste like gum, and saying so probably only confuses people who've never had it, into thinking it tastes like Big Red gum (in other words, cinnamon). They have a regular cream soda now called Big Blue. But, like many cream sodas, it mainly just tastes like really sweet sugar water.

Does anyone remember the Big Red Popsicles?

I found this page while doing a search for the Big Red Popsicles and it appears someone else was recently thinking of them too! I miss those popsicles so much! They came in twin pops so you could share, but I was an only child....so, score!

When I think of Big Red I think of gum not this soda...

I still get Big Red. They sell it at the local Chinese supermarket and a local liquor store sells Big Blue.
