yeah!! I remember the veal parm sandwich. I was HOOKED on them.

I loved them. I was 5-10 years old. I preferred them to the current chicken parm. My wife didn't remember that they existed, but now, thanks to this website, she is convinced.

My wife loved them too! But nI didn't believe it was true until now. Her brother Lennie told her what veal was when she was a kid and never has had it since!!

Damn, I wish they were out now. I'm sure I wouldn't have liked them as a kid if I had tried them. But today...YUM!

I used to love those veal parmesan sandwiches!! I was like 7 or so and I used to think that it was just chicken but a fancier version of it so they called it veal, I never asked my mother what it actually was as far as animals because I loved it anyway regardless of what it was.

i used to eat chicken, then i ate pork, then i ate chicken again, and then i tried the new veal parmesan and i fell in love....MMMmmmm

I was hooked on the veal parm. AWESOME. I like their chicken italiano, but to expensive for "fake" chicken. I remember their hot dogs too, overly microwaved buns!

I remember it was always a big deal for my mom to take me to get these when my dad was working nights sometimes. They were soooo good!

I did a google search and it is great to see that other people look back in a nostalgic manner to this outstanding sandwich. You guys are right, the chicken parm is good, but nothing like the veal was. I was eight years old in the Summer of 1982 and I was always pumped when my parents would take me to Burger King for my favorite meal.

Actually, the jingle went "The Burger King sandwich..... Veal Parmisiana, won't be here for ever!!" Because it was an LTO. I only know because I get the jingle stuck in my head frequently. :D

I am eating a veal parm sandwich from Dutchess Restaurant and having worked at BK when I was 16 in the 80s this tastes the same!!! Just not on a longer bun thats all. So check out your Veal parm Craving at Dutchess.

BK never had hot dogs that was wendys. Veal parm was always my favorite.

BK absolutely had hot dogs up through the early 80s.

The BK Veal Parm. sandwich was the best meal any fast food chain offered period. Used to cost $2.10 back in the day. I'd pay $20.10 for one right now. I wish someone would start a petition for BK to bring it back, even for a limited time.

I worked at BK in 1983 when I was 17. Both the veal and chicken were breaded frozen cutlets that we took out of the freezer and plunged into a hot vat of oil (just like the french fries) and then placed on a long sub-like bun. The veal had pre made marinara sauce that was squeezed on from a plastic bottle and a slice of mozzerella cheese. It wasn't bad at all but once the veal started to cool down it got very tough and hard to chew. BK stopped selling it because it didn't sell very well. Back then their burgers were the only things people seemed to want.

Does anyone remember the Big Deal Veal from Little Ceasar's? Theirs was on a round bun and it was DE-LISH!!! My dad used to take my sister and I and get us one at least once a week. I really wish they'd bring theirs back too.

I loved these. BK was my first job when I was 14 and this veal sandwich was the best. In the 90's they use to have them as a promo just after Christmas. Use to get one while Boxing day shopped. They should bring it back again as a promo.

These were amazing. And while MCB said they did not sell well, they sold great. It was pulled because of the fact it was veal. Burger King the only national chain selling anything made from veal and there were a lot of pictures of baby cows being shown by animal rights activists. Burger King pulled the product to discontinue the bad publicity.

I wish Burger King would bring back the Veal Parmesan Sandwich I loved them . WHY won't they bring then back????

I will never forget the veal sandwich. I was addicted to them and have never found another fast food sandwich since. Even regular restaurants don't serve anything that tasty.

I wish they still had these and that they were as good as ever.

I actually made the Veal Parmesan in 1981-1982, my first year of college. They were called "Specialty Sandwiches". There was also Ham & Cheese, Roast Beef and the Original Chicken. After making them we would put in the microwave and bump the sandwiches to melt the cheese, then we could slice in half with a huge serrated bread knife. I'm sure too may teenagers lost fingers so that slicing was soon eliminated.

Tell you, these weren't half bad! My mom always got coupons and we'd get these sometimes back in Wayne Hills Mall off Ratzer Road which we got there via Valley Road. This as pretty good for a fast food Veal Parm

The Vesl Parmesan was my favorite sandwich and really the only thing I would eat from Burger King. It is sad that they discontinued it all together. I compare this situation to MacDonald’s McRib. McDonald’s discontinued the McRib but brought it back as a special (several times) for the die hard people who liked the McRib prior. Burger King should listen to their customers. It is obvious they don’t and that is why I choose not to eat anything else Burger King has to offer.
