AC/DC's "For those about to rock/WE SALUTE YOU!!!" (Big cannon fire) was a very silly 80s anthem. Of course it had to be rewritten "For those about to eat/CHEF SALUTO!" To this day I often yell "CHEF SALUTO! FIREEEE!" and no-one has any idea what the hell I'm talking about.

I remeber quite well saluto pizza's from back when I was a kid and my parent's and their good friend's they knew would go to the store-n-but one!! It was so good! one cannot come close like saluto i told my wife only one good frozen pizza,SALUTO!!,?is can one still but them-n-where I live in Kalamazoo,Mi i am very certainly interested in haveing one again!

I remember when Chef Saluto pizza was an alternative/competitor with Stouffer's French Bread Pizza.......we loved Saluto more but it went off the market and I remember mother being so mad. They had a french bread variety, that was the one we bought. The cheeze was a little more lively on the Saluto.

I once had a oart time job working my way through college as a food demonstrator and coupon distributor in the suoermarkets. That was one good lasagna SALUTO. I ate it on and off after doing their demonstration, I never tasted tge pizza and never did hear why they went out of business. It was a good product.
