Oh these things DID induce binge eating. I don't know what was in them at the factory. But they were soo good.

I used to have these in HS with lunch, they were awesome.

I can still remember the TV commercials with a very young Jay Leno.... "Crunch all you want, We'll make more" Those were soo good.

I used to think I was going crazy for remember these things...nobody knew what the heck I was talking about! From what I remember they tasted a lot like smartfood popcorn but on a dorito. And yes Breane, the bag was hot pink and black...classic 80s!

ME TOO FOXY!! I would always talk to my friends about the old school junk food we would eat as kids like the different brands of doritos and they swore i was crazy because they could not recall Jump N' Jacks...they were the BEST Chips EVER!!!!...they need to bring this one back!!

I loved these!!! It was rumored that the reason they discontinued them is because, they had high levels of MSG in them.Sometimes high MSG levels in food can cause migraine headaches. Everytime I ate them I did get a headache.

I remember these being released in the '90s. Don't recall them being around in the '80s...but I could be mistaken. In any case, these were the best Doritos I'd ever had. The "Four-Cheese" flavor they released a few years back was comparable.

Yes, I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the ol' school Jumping Jack Cheese Doritos!!!! I hope the makers are reading this because WE really want these back....can I get a what what yall! I don't know why they were taken off the shelf many years ago but everything in history repeats itself so I am patiently awaiting that glorious day!!!! Man oh man they were THE BEST!!!! I even wrote the company recently to beg them to bring them back (they brought back the original Taco ones recently!) but they basically said no. NO!!!! Awesome!!!! PLEEEZE!!!!

These were the best chips Doritos came out with! My mom would take my BFF and I to the drive in movies and this and Twizzlers were the only two things we wanted! And every sleepover we have our parents always bought us Jumpin Jack Doritos because they knew they were our favorite! They definitely need to bring them back!

Just picked up a Four Cheese flavor bag at Sam's tonight. They really taste similar to what I remember Jump'in tasting like. Kind'a hard to remember a flavor from 20+ years ago.

Why would The Frito Lay Company leave the Customer hanging like that. These were my absolute favorite flavor of Dorritos EVER. No one, but my husband remember's this flavor. I wish they would consider putting these back on the shelves. It would certainly sell better than Hamburger flavored Dorritos (DISGUSTING)!!!

I AGREE THAT JUMPIN JACK DORITOS IN THE EARLY 90's OR LATE 80's WERE THE BEST NEXT TO COOL RANCH. AS A MATTER OF FACT, I'M NOT SURE WHICH ONES I WOULD PREFER. BUT IF ANYONE HAS A BAG OUT THERE I AM WILLING TO PAY UP TO $100 DOLLARS, POSSIBLY MORE, FOR THE BAG AS LONG AS THEY HAVEN'T EXPIRED : ) I hope some day the makers will be smart enough and start producing them again. People I am starting a campaign on twitter to get Frito Lay to begin making Jumpin Jack Doritos again. My plan is simple. I have been tweeting them, at @FritoLay, once or twice a day reminding them how amazing this flavor of Doritos is and how much we want it back. Ive googled jumping jack Doritos several times, but I just can't seem too find any. I truly hope they come back to the sales floor. I agree. A lot of people just don't seem too remember this awesome tasting snack... Come back!! Lol!

no worries they are back for a limited time everywhere in the US....I live in boston they are here...and someone in texas did a youtube review. I am eating them right now. they are ok but not as good as they used to be...the cheese is a touch not as cheesy and its peppery....I dont remember them having this much pepper kick...I mean its not a lot but its there.

While I loved the Jumpin Jack Doritos, they didn't come out in the 80s. They released in 90

I just saw them at the store today and was SO excited!! These were the Best Doritos out there- I've been hoping they'd come back one day. But sadly I'm disappointed- these are peppery (hence the pepper jack cheese flavor stamp on the bag.). I don't remember them bring peppery before- but much more cheesy! I want the Old ones back!!
