When did they take the Big Mac off of McDonald's list of burgers? I think it's good idea because then people will long for it. Like the McRib.

From the prime time TV vault, "Good Times, Great Taste" was the jingle in this knee-slapping commercial. Dancing eggs, a Big Mac being slapped together, a kid kissing the Ronald statue and Mac Tonight are shown. This aired during "Beverly Hills Buntz" on NBC (4/1/88). In this short semi-comical series, Buntz leaves Hill Street Blues to become a private detective. While searching through video, came across Dennis Franz in a pre-"Hill Street" role. In 1984, he played the loud-mouthed spectator, Zig, in the public TV version of "Bleacher Bums," set at Chicago's Wrigley Field. "Bleacher Bums" was not for kids. Words not allowed on network TV were said unbleeped. Also, the blonde lady spectator character, Melody, was shown applying sun screen to parts of her body normally done in private. The main plot was about off-the-cuff bets made among the male fans regarding the ball game. The play ends with kindly Melody escorting a blind guy from the bleacher area at game's end. The play was intended to give a "realistic" feel about behavior in the bleachers.

Big Macs are the bomb and freshly made will always be ! In the 70's it was a "treat" to go to McDonalds as most families ate home cooked meals. Not like today where some kids are raised on it 24/7. Love McDonalds!
