I loved New York Seltzer. I remember I was 9 years old enjoying a raspberry seltzer in Nebraska, while visiting my family.

My step dad used to drink Rootbeer flavor it was the best!

I loved the Root Beer Flavor. I drank this stuff religiously. I wish it was still made.

Clear, bubbly and delicious! Rasberry was the one for me!

This stuff was so good! I remember that my older brother loved the stuff. I tried finding it and it looks like it no longer exists.

I miss New York Seltzer SO BADLY! It was awesome. There was a NY style deli called Strup's in my town and luckily close enough to ride my bike to, which made me a hit with my friends when we were 10-12 years old. We always got NY Seltzer there, my favorite was black cherry flavor. We used to open the metal cap halfway and suck the seltzer out through the tiny holes, which I know see was so gross and unsanitary!

My sister and I loved New York Seltzer as kids. I would love to find it again! yum!

Damn I miss the Vanilla New York Seltzer. Bring that back. As I posted under the Gator Crunch chips...I used to chug the Vanilla NY Seltzer and kill a bag of Jalapeno Gator Crunch chips!

After my first job I would treat myself to a Cola Berry New York Selzer. It had a real kick!!

Oh please bring back NY Seltzer! It would bring a bit of happiness to my crappy life. I loved every flavor. We brought it to every sleep over as kids and it was such a special treat on the weekends. Blueberry is great as is Black Cherry, Raspberry, Vanilla...etc. We miss it a lot!

I liked the black cherry and raspberry... I wish they would bring them back, in the stubby little glass bottles with the Styrofoam lablels...

It was called Original New York Seltzer and it came out around 1981. However it wasn't made anywhere near NY, it was from Walnut, California!

There was a 1987 commercial on youtube where you can win a trip to New York from New York Seltzer!

A bottle of this, a grab bag of Cajun Spice Ruffles, a bag of M&M's(red is back!), a cup of Penguins Frozen Yogurt... That is a snack that would bring me back to 1987...

It's been back on store shelves at least since this past September... tastes just like I remember it... With this, Berke Breathed bringing back Bloom County, all we need is the return of Cajun Spice Ruffles for it to be 1987 all over again...

Original New York Seltzer is finally available on the West coast! Just had a raspberry and it tastes as good as I remember in the mid-eighties sitting at the Gallaria in downtown Portland..way before I was old enough to get my drank on.

Recently saw on YouTube a profile of Randy Miller, who was the president of the company back in the day... At the age where most people are just getting out of college, he was president of a $100 million dollar company, was a millionaire himself, had a mansion and a pet tiger(the profile showed him walking through the ONYS offices with his tiger on a leash), and even made a commercial where he jumped from the balcony of a Hollywood hotel... the guy lived like a rock star... But dang it, I loved it back in the day, and not just because the company was run by a guy just a few years older than me, who lived like a rock star...
