i remember these the swirlers were used to make designs on ur oatmeal 1 of my favs as a kid

Don't have the fondest of memories of this one, as my daily babysitters (my next-door neighbors) would practically force-feed myself and their own kids the stuff every morning before school, and would only buy the Strawberry kind, which tasted funky to me. Being 20 years older, I'd probably love the stuff if it was still around.

I wish they brought this back. Chocolat was my absolute favorite. I started having it when I was only 8 in the second grade and now I'm almost 26.

I remember asking and not getting because my mom would say do they have that crap with the 10lb canister of oat meal that I buy if not then shut your pie hole wow the pictures bring back memories painful ones but memories :)

I never ate the stuff, but i INSTANTLY recognized the box once I saw it on the right, my sister used to eat the stuff

I still have Oatmeal Swirlers! I make it myself. Chocolate was my favorite so I make a regular packet of Quaker instant oatmeal and pour on the Hershey's syrup. I was so little when I used to eat it, but to me it seems like I'm 4 again, eating the same stuff my mom used to buy. Whats worse, my mom still has a coupon for Oatmeal Swirlers. When I asked her about it, she remarked that there is no expiration date on the coupon. Haha.

Son of a Biscuit! I forgot about this! I use to like the strawberry. I didn't even care to try the other flavors.

I loved this food more than any other of the 1980's. This is primarily due to the fact that when you made it, you could put the strawberry gel in the middle, so when you took a spoonfull, it looked like you just cut into the oatmeal and it appeared to be bleeding!!!!!!!!! Why did they discontinue this glorious breakfast item??? Nothing says "mental stability and development" quite like a childs food bleeding.

Quaker Oatmeal's "strawberries & cream" flavor instant oatmeal tastes real similar to the strawberry swirl oatmeal. I just had some a minute ago and a light bulb clicked in my head. I remember begging my mom for this stuff as a kid!

I really think that Quaker should bring it back maybe if we all sign a petition or e-mail them maybe they would consider it

I used to love the strawbery one. I have been asking everyone I know what it was called. No one knew what I was talking about and thought I was crazy. I wish they would bring this stuff back. I could eat it all day.

Hahaha this bring backs so many memories of my childhood! I was so sad when they stopped making it. U can still put any flavor of Smucker's on your oatmeal but it's just not the same!

It just hit me that there isn't anything like this anymore. Being born in 1982 it was always at grandma's house. I remember them, but do not remember the taste. Just the fun. Now, last week I asked a group of 24 year olds if they remembered these things (thinking they could have only been discontinued like, last year, right?). Not a soul in the campsite knew. But they thought it was a pretty rad idea.

Omg I literally just cried. I remember this very distinctly. My mom would always buy it for me. I loved the strawberry the best. I swear to this very day when I buy oatmeal for my sons (weekly), I always look just in case they bring it back. Those were the good days! Ok I'm crying again. Lmao!

My parents used to feed this to my sister and I on a regular basis. Strawberry was our choice. I still check out the oatmeal selection at the grocery store every once in a while hoping that one day they will start making it again. One day, maybe? Very fond memories of this!

Born in '85, so if it came out in '88 and was only around aprox a year than this stuff must've been spectacular. I am 28 now, and have craved the strawberry flavored "gel" for YEARS, couldn't have been much older than 3 or 4 when I had it....Crazy

Forgot to add, for fans of the "Strawberry" the only comparable tasting oatmeal ive ever had since is the "strawberrys n' creme" currently put out by Quaker.

I was just trying to remember the name of this oatmeal I had as a kid and my girlfriend said the same thing we wished they still had it out now I'm sure I would buy it and so would many other people for there young kids now. I miss the SWIRLERS Strawberry & CREAM OATMEAL!!!!!

I tried to get it once, but my parents said no. They were afraid “Oatmeal Swirlers” had too much sugar. I didn’t care. There were 6 flavors. Strawberry, milk chocolate, apple cinnamon, maple brown sugar... forgot the other two. I wish this oatmeal came back right now!
