Yeah I remember those brownies. I could eat a whole container of them. Why did they stop making them??????????!!!!!!!!!!

I seem to recall the most delicious Pepridge Farm Brownies from the 1980's. They were inside of an individual white ridged container. I would put them in the oven for a small period of time. I would then take them out of the oven let them cool off for a short time and put whipped cream. They were the best brownies that I have ever had in my life and I am 66 years of age. I am not sure, however the name Newport Brownie seems to be familiar to me. I sure do miss these Brownies. Nothing before of after even compares to them!! I am wondering if any other person remembers them.

Were these more like little cakes with a kind of streuselly topping? If so I loved them and wish they would bring them back!

I loved these in my lunch, circa about 3rd grade or so. I seem to remember some gingham on the wrapper. They had an apple pie kind of thing, too...

I agree with Kate! I remember gingham on the wrapper too. My mom used to pack them in my lunch as well. So good!

Those brownies were delicious and were my favorite after school snack growing up! For years have wished Pepperidge Farm would bring these back!
