I would get these in the early 70's. The straw was like 18" long filled with flavored sugar. What more could you ask for as a kid? I believe the were only 10 cents each at the time. I'm sure the cavities were more expensive.

I was born in 1984, but I remember having these as a kid in the 90's. I think they are still around. haven't had one in what seems like FOREVER! These things were so good, but always gave me a big sugar rush.

When we wanted to be really cool at parties, my dumb friends would snort the Pixie sugar out of one of our girlfriend's cleavage. We thought we were such rock stars. How lame. My middle school actually had a ban on these things in the cafeteria. The teachers thought it encourage drug abuse. I think the really just didn't like how wild we got after all the sugar.

I remember getting these at the concession stand at the ballparks. Back then they were the size of a drinking straw and filled with sugar. There were green, purple, orange, and red to choose from. If you chewed or slobbered on the straw, that sugar would harden up and you'd have to throw it away. Now they come in a plastic Giant Pixy Stick about a foot long and I only find purple & red at the ballparks.

Philistine, I also remember my friend and I snorting pixie stix. We would go roller skating every friday and everyone would buy pixie stix at the snack bar and make lines on the tables and snort. How lame!! We just ended up with colored noses and sneezing most of it back up. Stupid kids we were.

Didn't Ally Sheedy pour Pixie Stix on her Cap'n Crunch sandwich in "The Breakfast Club"? Talk about a weird girl.

I used to sell pixi sticks in junior high school I am searching to find the brand I used to sell . They were about 6 inches long. Clear with a white stripe and came in 5 flavors. I used to buy them 2 for a nickel and sell them a nickel a piece when I was 12 in 1990. Any help please would be appreciated.
