Ok, maybe this goes to show what a huge 80's dork I am, but i have a VHS tape my mom recorded off of Nickelodeon, ( i think i was like 6 or so) and it actually contains a commercial for PUdding ROll ups. there are some kids dressed as detectives and I still remember the jiggle.. "how can it be? I can't believe my eyes. It's Pudding Roll-Ups, the pudding in disquise!" LMAO! I love the 80's!!!!!

I LOVED pudding roll-ups!!! Not too many people remember them - but they were awesome! I wish they would come back!!!

I didn't like these much. I preferred Fruit Roll Ups. I only had the chocolate. Maybe I would have liked the butterscotch version better.

OMG I loved these things. There was a guy in my neighborhood who gave them out at Halloween and I was hooked after that... I loved the butterscotch ones.

I remember pudding roll ups, same brand as fruit roll ups in the same wrapping. I know you could make fruit roll ups easily by putting apple sauce or some other sauce in a circle and baking it. There must be a way to replicate fruit roll ups and home cooking is so much healthier. I love to bake! They have been out since I guess the early 90s, but I remember them in the late 80s. Fruit roll ups never went out so I wonder why the pudding did. Well I guess you could try putting pudding on a pan and baking it as you could for fruit roll ups. I am more of a baking dessert person, but I do get the nastalgic craving for some of the old stuff. A couple of years ago I was waiting in teh 7-11 on my job because my boyfriend was picking me up from work and I was debating whether I should walk or call a cab since I was waiting so long, but I didn't feel like walking or spending money on a cab for a few blocks so I waited and ate a yodal. Okay not the most interesting story, but we were on the topic of 80as snacks, actually that's more like from the 50s.

I feel like I have found a support group of people who believe me when I say I used to LOVE chocolate fruit roll-ups. I just discovered that what I have been talking about is actually pudding roll ups. I wish I could find them somewhere! I would think we could special order them but so far no luck.

I love them!!!! Please tell me where or how I can find them? I'll buy in bulk!

MAN I FEEL LIKE THEY WILL BE COMING BACK OUT CUZ AFTER TWENTY YEARS PLUS, I ALL OF THE SUDDEN AT WORK HAD A CRAVING FOR THEM AT WORK. ....ONLY BECAUSE I HAD BROUGHT FRUIT ROLL UPS WITH ME N THEY WEREN'T DOING THE JOB. SO I STARTED ASKING PEERS MY AGE N SURPRISINGLY THEY DIDN'T KNOW WHAT THE HELL I WAS TALKING ABOUT. ...AND NOW I HAVE FOUND THE HOLY GRAIL OF BELIEVERS AS WELL AS WITNESSES TO WHAT WAS ONCE THE PUDDING ROLL UP!!!!!Damn I wish they would bring them back.

Actually I started seeing these in early 1987. I remember because I was in 3rd grade, started seeing the commercials then (with the boys dressed as private eyes and singing "Pudding roll-ups, pudding in disguise! They can be lots of things pudding can't be, but that yummy yummy taste...that's pudding to me!") and started bringing them to school with me then. I never liked butterscotch, but I liked the chocolate pudding and chocolate fudge ones a lot.
