I thought I was the only one who remembered the Smurf marshmallows. I can remember my father buying these for our camping trip.

A couple years ago I tried searching high and low to find the maker of smurf marshmallows because they were my favorite snack of all time! Glad I found this site because no one else remembers the smurf marshmallows except me and my mom (since she bought them). Which company produced these!?

I would just be happy getting a google image of the packaging! I remember eating these behind a recliner with my friend, I think we pretty much finished the whole bag in less then 5 minutes!

so glad to come here and find the handfull of people in this world who also remember the blue Smurf Marshmallows. I've searched for a long time, for even just a picture of them on Google, but to no avail...hopefully that changes. I even remember how these used to taste!

I thought I was the only one who remembered these! ( though I dont remember the Smurf part of it, just the blue colored-berry flavored part) maybe the company continued to make these after they dropped the Smurf promotion for a while. (similar to Hi-C's Ecto Cooler..I miss that too!!) we need to create a petition to BRING THESE MARSHMALLOWS BACK!! THIS IS THE YEAR 2012. WHY CANT WE DO THIS?! WE HAVE THE TECHNOLOGY AND THE VOICE

I remember going to my parents' friends house and she bought smurf marshmallows and we cooked them over an open fire and they were the best I ever tasted! I was hoping one day they would come back out with them so my kids could try them.

The picture submitted are a more version of the Smurf Marshmallows that came out in more recent years with the release of the Smurf films, and a resurgence in Smurf merchandising. But the marshmallows mentioned here looked just like marshmallows you find in the baking aisle in teh super market. In a bag, except they were light blue instead of white.

The company name that produced them was called Kidd's. They were called smurf-mallows and the info on the back of the bag says it was copy wrote in 1984, authorized by Wallace Berrie Licensing,Woodland hills, CA. Manufactured by Kidd and company, Ligonier Indiana 46767 U.S.A. I just found some one on E bay selling a bag. I too remember roasting these on a camp fire, I wish they were still around

Hello. I sold the packing boxes to Kidd & Co. for the Smurfmallows. They were a hit in the marketplace for several years. At some point Kidd & Co. was sold to Kraft Foods and Kraft dropped a number of the specialty items Kidd had manufactured. I believe the Kraft is new under a new name.

Currently, the company is Kraft-Heinz, after a merger three years ago. Rumor has that another company may join in this year.

I am so glad to find others who remember this magic marshmallow… These were my favorite !! I used to love to to let the goodness melt all over my tongue…!! I wish they still made these- newer ones that you can buy from Haribo are nothing like the original. Smurfberry blueberry marshmallows were just a light, fluffy, blueberry, melt in your mouth goodness that most likely never to be re-created in our lifetime… But boy those were my favorite growing up!!

Greg post Nancy L and from you also Rob Lambert back in March of 2018. Love that photo, too. Were these around in in 1986? Think they were because Smurf stuff was big then. My wife and I were called "The Cookies.
