I grew up on Volcano Rocks and they were the bomb. I like them better than Nerds, however Nerds are quite tasty.

These were far better than nerds! Everytime I bring them up to people they think Pop Rocks. They are not pop rocks..they were like nerds but only so much better!

Wish they still made these! They were nothing like Nerds. Instead it was small pieces of broken up pressed powder candy with a sugar coating. Loved the banana flavored ones best.

nerds had mixture flavor hands down best candy ever made just needed harder marketing like nerds was creative and just needs to lower prices . bring em back they were tha bomb diggity and addicting as all hell. everyone at green knolls drive in rochester was eating them all the time. VOLCano rocks please bring em back . these were like nerds except bigger and flavorable melted flavors all together in different sizes like nerds and had no particular flavor like contrary to the guy that said he likes bananan flavor that is runts my freind not volcano rocks. runts was cheap version and not as well made as volcano rocks and had cool box to get rocks out of ..the world will be a better place with volcano rocks and fruit brute cereal come back permanently.

I totally agree with you!!!! I have been looking all over the place for these and couldn't find info on them anywhere, until now!!!! My favorite candy as a child, then they disappeared, I want them back!!!!!!!
