OMG! I got one of those for Christmas when I was two!

Ugh! I loved alphie, they had one in the nursery at my church, and I was totally obsessed!

Endless hours spent with this Robot. Awesome 80's toy. Can we get one now a days? I Wonder?!?!

Oh yeah!! I didn't have one, but my friend did. I always wanted to play with it when I was at her house and she never wanted to.

My sister threw this toy at my head when I was 2 and I had to get stiches, I love that toy!

I played with my Alphie all the time !I took it everywhere. Oh snap ! This is so throwback!

Ah I'd forgotten about him!! I had a white one, he was SO COOL! Hahaha.

Alphie was the best! My grandfather went to so many different stores to get me this toy for my birthday. I loved it!

When I was in first grade, from 1988-1989, I had an Alphie II, the white one and I would play with it when we had our play time. It was heaps of fun!

I used to be scared of this because of some of the sounds it made. I guess mother used to threaten to put Alphie on top of my closet if I was bad. (At night and where I couldn't reaach it)

I had a white one and I LOVED him! I played with it ALL the time...has to be my most memorable toy.

I also had a white alphie...and I loved it. So much fun...cool vintage toys...like pretenders,rainbow bite,vtech whiz kid...Got to love them.

I'm looking at mine right now as he is placed prominently in my home office...my mom dug him out of the garage this year!!!!

I love this toy.. I remember playing with it.. I came home one day from school and my moms had " cleanned" my room.. she threw him away.. I had alphie 2 the white one.. My heart was broken and still to this day I remember that and i am 24 now! Breaks my heart still

I miss this toy...a definite winner!

Is it worth thousands? I have one in very good condition at 25yrs old. Without my knowledge my daughter put batteries in it,, I was cleaning on day and bump it. Needless to say when it came on, it scared the ^&$! outta me. I sat and played with it for an hour. Still have all the cards. Cool!

I had an alphie when i was very little. Half the time (or more) that i had him he didnt have batteries, still one of my favorite toys ever though. In fact I loved him so much I named my old dog after him. :)

my neighbor gave hers to me. it weas the blue one. i used to carry it around with me were ever we went. dont know what happend to him.

I had the blue also. It nearly drove my parents insane because I played with it constantly. One night, my dad and I went somewhere and left my mom home alone. She usually got pretty nervous when left by herself. Unbeknownst to her, my Alphie robot was chucked into my toy box upside down. It slid down a little further, bumped into something else and punched the button on top of his head. The noise nearly caused my mom to have a heart attack.

I LOVED my Alphie, he was blue- exactly like this picture. I still have him in my Mum's garage. I remember trying to sleep with him when I was little- I just loved him so much. As an only child, he was my "friend." Definitely not a snuggle toy, though.
