I LOVED Barrel O' Monkeys. Too bad you only got one color in each can. I recently bought a can of them. My cat likes to "drag" a chain of them around.
I always played this at my grandma's house :)
I had some of these as a kid. I loved them they were so much fun! Id take them on long road trips and they would keep me busy!
A cheap, fun and iconic game of the 80s. Think I'll go on eBay and see if I can find a set!
You can actually get these at walmart! And Susie, the new ones come with multicolour monkeys. I just bought my LO a can and it had red, blue, and yellow monkeys inside :)
Loved these! Got a set for Christmas but ended up losing all the monkeys so I had to get a new one :-)
I had red barrel of monkees as a chils. and rebought red one recently.
My 2nd gr. classroom had a red set of these on the toy shelf back in 87. I think I was the only one who played with em. I never knew what the pt of this game was but I loved just sittin there connectin them all together into a long chain. Something tells me these are not an 80's toy. They look like something from the 50's or 60's.
They are from the 60s. I was a kid in the 60s (oops, dating myself here), and had a blue barrel with blue, green, red, and yellow monkeys in it. I wish I still had it now.
