This was my all time favorite toy. It was years ahead of its time. A truck, you programmed in 1981! It's still a cool toy.

Completely forgot about this one. I loved my Big Trak. I remember the commercial where the BT shoots a laser at the family dog or something. I also remember ruining mine trying to take it apart. Mine was grey - this is the first time I've seen pictures of one in white.

They grey one was the US version, The white was the Great Briton ver. It was a awsome toy.

I still have my grey Big Trak. Unfortunately, it doesn't work anymore. Totally loved playing with it when I first got it in the early 80's. And I also remember that commercial.

I just found my Big Track from 1980. My Dad was an electronics salesman in the 70's-80's..and a perk of the job was that he brought home cool electronic toys before they hit the market. Mine was stored in it's box up in the attic. Still works!! Very Cool. Original condition

I loved the Big Trak and still have it to this day. I still have the original box for it and the trailer. I loved firing the "photon" cannon at night. It could light up the room. Great Toy.

It was the one toy that i wonted when i was a kid but never got but seeing it on here bring back alot of my child hood and still wont one to this day

This was and still is to this day a brilliant toy. I still have mine in full working order from when I was around maybe 9. Love it! Its one of the few toys from childhood I will never part with.

I still mess around with mine but the trailer isnt working. The best toy still, my kids play with it just like i did.

A buddy of mine worked pt at an insurance building in Delaware and one night we staged a battle. We programmed the tanks to move in and out of the elevators, spin around and wait to exit. Then it was off to search and destroy. It was a total blast... I guess my old Trak went the way of many of our favorites, Goodwill and good ridance. The best toy of the 80's

The best toy, it was my pride and joy, I had the white model being form the UK, it made plenty of dents in the walls, for the early 80's is was seriously advanced.

Don't know why I just thought of big Trak but i loved mine. The light eventually burned out from overuse. I used to use it to run over the Micronauts and chase the cat. I never got the transport but I remember the commercial of how the kid used it to deliver an apple to his dad. There was an "in" button on the Big Trak and it was supposed to be for a future attachemnt according to the instruction manual. This attachment was never made / released, I am assuming it was for some type of crane, since the "out" button was for the transport to dump things.

Anybody know what they are worth today?

I remember playing with this at the beach (probably not the best thing for the electronics)but it was so cool. I would program it to go over dunes and I used the dump truck part in the back for excavating! Awesome toy!

I had one of these babys with the additional truck attatchment. They can be found on ebay still and there are videos of them on youtube which is well worth the watch. Ahh those lovely retro lazer sounds. bidding now :) along with a mojor morgan. fingers crossed !!!

After getting the U.S. version {grey} one from my older brother for Christmas of "80" I could not leave it alone, I am sure we spent some $ on batteries just wish I knew what ever happened to it

you can get a big trak on ebay depending on what you are looking for they can be really good deals or very expensive.

Have one since I was a kid, still love it lol Ther is a brand new one on ebay at the moment, I just wish I had the spare cash.

I remenber my big trak what fun brings back very good memories of my childhood sadly due to my parents split mine was given to charity. Iam 39 now and boy am i on a mission to find a working bigtrak for my kids to own.

Seen a Big Trak in the background on The Gadget Show and was trying to remember what it was called for ages! Absolutely loved mine when I was a kid. Was so cool :)

I tried it somewhere in the 1980s. It looked great, but I found myself saying "That's all it does?" Rather-dull toy.

I got mine in 1979 for Christmas had a blast with it, my mom through it away because I broke the wheel off. I'm 46 and just got another still love it. I heard they are coming out with a new one that you program or run remotely with your phone and there is a camera attachment as well ope it comes out soon!
