OMG!!!!!! I had so many of these charms. Wow, this takes me back to 4th grade. My mom would drive me all around town to find different and unique charms. Love you mom!!

I had these too. I loved them so much. One day I kept my mother and my Nanny waiting while I built my charm necklace. When it was done it had every chain link filled to capacity. My Nanny said No. Take at least half off. I had to leave the entire the thing home. I was devastated. I was always trying to wear all my charms at once.

These were sold at McCrory's in the 80's. We called them Junk Necklaces or Chain Necklaces. I have 4 of them!!!

I had the yellow chain and a thermometer, record, bottle, ping pong paddle and racquet with shoes. Many more but I can't remember. These are pricey today on eBay!

I have about 8 of these necklaces, all colors, and tons of charms. I was collecting them to make a unique garland for my Christmas tree. I usually spent 20 dollars a week for these at the swap meet, or anywhere else that sold them. Next Christmas, I'll put up a pic of the tree with the garland on.
