Do you mean Fashion Star Fillies?

No, they're Enchanted Kingdom Horses! Here's an ID guide for them: http://wystearya.freepgs.com/enchantedkingdom/index.htm

These were a wonderful addition to my "My Little Pony" collection. My favorite was Gypsy

I have been searching for these. I loved them but either my dog would chew them or my parents would step on them breaking their legs. Most of the horses had tape or some kind of"bandage" on them.

I had Pegasus, Spring Bride and a few others I can't remember the names of! I love horse so I naturally loved these. I played with these with Rose Petal and her friends as well as my Herself the Elf dolls. :) All of my toys are gone though. :'( I have two daughters and nothing from my childhood for them. All my toys were lost in a move. I wih I still had them. This site rocks!!! Thank you for reminding me about Enchanted Horses! I had forgotten a favorite toy and it was so great to remember!

Loved these! I had a white one with pink mane and tail...maybe it was Rose Petal?

There were BOTH Enchanted Horses and Enchanted Kingdom Horses. They look the same but were released at different times.

I see someone posted a link to my old (and now outdated) website. Here is the new site: http://www.freewebs.com/enchantedkingdomhorses Thanks!

Your current picture is incorrect. That is not an Enchanted Kingdom horse.

Glad to see you got a new picture! Jasmine is indeed a real Enchanted Kingdom horse.

Hi! I had two of these. I'm hoping to find them eventually. Winter Bride & Top Hat. They were awesome. Does anyone remember these little toy centaurs with real hair & they were really colorful? I had one that had a orangish yellow body with bright yellow hair & a little bird perched on one shoulder. I don't remember any others but I remember playing with those as a kid & these cute little mermaid dolls that bent at the waust & they changed colors when you got them wet. Any help is appreciated. This site is so cool! AriesGal79 P.S: You can email me at AriesGal3079@YaHoo.com if you know what these are called & where I can find them. Thanks!

I had the horse from this picture and it was definitely a Fashion Star Filly. It's possible they were marketed under more than one name?

Meg you must be mistaken. Jasmine is not a Fashion Star Filly. Those horses are bigger and have patterns printed on their bodies (stars or spots or swirls depending). Their saddles were always soft flexible fabric with their name printed on it. They usually had big hard plastic hair accessories in the shape of things like flowers, moons or stars. There is a white Filly called Chloe which you might be thinking of. The Enchanted Kingdom Horses are MUCH smaller and more delicate, and they have no patterns painted on their bodies. They have hard plastic saddles that are covered with fabric, lace, or other trim. They each came with a beaded or chain rein. Their hair usually has small round faceted beads, although occasionally they had short ribbons or small fabric flowers for beads instead.

Also, the second photo up there with the carriage and prince figure is not an Enchanted Kingdom Horse. I don't know what it is, but it is not from the same line we are discussing here. It is not a Fashion Star Filly either.

I have a darker pink 1987 EK model with light purple hair and a pink 'saddle' with lilac fur. It's not a prancing or posing model, it has its left leg high up and its left rear hoof is pointed directly down rather than flat. It also has stickers on it which I assume I put on it because they were part of the accessories, which are shooting stars and diamonds. It also has purple hair beads and a crown. Does anyone know the name of this horse? I'm passing it on to my kids and they want to know the name.

I remember these, but never had any. I collected (and still do) Breyer horses.

AriesGal79, your message jogged my memory that I had some of those little centaurs too, so I did some research today: they were from a toy line called Shimmers from the company Kenner. Your yellow one was called Meadow. I suspect the mermaids you mentioned are from the same line. Hope that helps! :)

I wasn't much into horses. I had a few My Little Ponies. My cousin loved horses and had a few from this collection and they depicted the natural features of a real horse much better. My Little Pony got too much nose trimmed at the plastic surgeon and went overboard on self plumping injections.

Hi everyone, I had a horse as a kid that I remember was turquoise, that played the song "these are a few of my favorite things" sort of like a music box when you pressed a button on the back of the horse. If you know the name of it, please let me know! any help would be greatly appreciated!
