Description
Can we say GIMMICK?? The Funwich Factory by Playskool was a short-lived plastic stamping-type machine designed to imprint ordinary sandwich bread with an image of your favorite cartoon character. It came with interchangeable plastic "cards" with raised images of Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck, etc. on them. You selected a character card, put it in the slot, put a piece of bread on the tray, pushed down on the lever, and presto! - an image of your favorite Disney character is now on your bread. (And that's pretty much where the "fun" in "Funwich factory" ends.)
