I havent seen one of these in a very long time i had one.

Do you know if they stil make these bears or where you can find one?

I still have my bear and i still sleep with it every night. I got this bear when i was born and the heart has never died !!

My bear is now 20 years old and in excellant condition except for the ball on his nightcap has fallen off. His ticker still ticks and my 10 month old daughter likes to lay on him. He's the best toy ever made.

When I was 5 yrs old, I had to have an open heart surgery. My aunt & uncle had bought a heart to heart bear for me as a get well gift. After 20 years I still ahve mine and the heart still beats! It is something I'll never for get!

I got my Heart bear when I was four we were moving and we looked every where for one and finally found one tucked away in the back of toys r us. I got my teddy when I was 5, I'm now 19 and still have him. Unfortunately my house mate has a naughty dog decided to tear of his sleeping hat and his jarmy's, also ripping his head off. I received one from our house keeper when I was probably about 3 and now I'm 23. It had the pink outfit. But, i moved two years ago and a bunch of things of mine got lost and that was one of the things that was gone. It was my favorite and i still cant believe it's gone. The heart still worked too! Just had to change the batteries every so often.

Someone bought one of these for my mother when her and my father were going through there divorce. I was about 5 or so, so I took as if it was my own. I still have that bear 20+ years later, and the heart still beats.

I got my bear from my biological father on my 5th birthday. I am 27 this year. I just put my Teddy into the washing machine and afterwards into the dryer, and he still looks great. The heart works fine as well. I gave him to my daughter yesterday, she is 18 months. My cousin had the darker brown version, with blue PJs. Mine is light brown with pink jammies (like the picture). I still love my Teddy and I'm glad I kept him for my baby girl!!

She poked a hole in the lining to his heart pocket and my Mom decided to take the heart out and sew up the pocket. But that doesn't matter...he's still the best stuffed animal/toy I ever got. My friend Allison has a bear that she's had her whole life that looks a LOT like this, but no hat or jammies. Not sure if it has a place to insert a heart, but I know it has a small plastic knob on the back to turn it on. It doesn't sound like a heart though, more like a dull washing machine sound. I love my bear! I am 21 and I sleep with him every night. My grandma got him for me when I was little. She just passed away. I brought him to the funeral with me, which I am sure got a lot of weird looks. But I could not do it without him. the last time I heard his heart beat was at the funeral, it stopped after that. I was born in Oct and got my Heart to Heart for my first Christmas. Teddy is in real rough shape compared to the pictures. He's falling apart. I'm 22 now and still have him. For those of you wanting to fix, clean or restuff your bear professionally: In Northern New Jersey there is a place I found called THE TEDDY BEAR HOSPITAL. This guy has this shop set up like a 1950's clinic. He repairs and refurbishes dolls. I took my bear there because my stupid cat started pulling the pink pom pom of my HtoH bears nightcap. I took the bear there and this guy fixed it really well. You cannot even tell it was damaged. I bought my grandson's Heart to Heart bear in 1988 and even now, at 21, he still has it with the original blue pajamas. The battery has only been replaced once and still keeps beating. That was one of the best investments I ever made.

Can anyone tell me if they made a doll version of the bear? I have one with a shirt on that looks exactly like heart to heart bear's shirt but it says heart to heart la baby. It does have a beating heart as well. But, it is labeled Berjusa and not Chosun. It has blond hair and is supposed to look like a real baby. She doesn't have her pants or anything else. I got my Thumpy when I was very little and he immediately became my safety blanket. I took him everywhere and freaked out if he was missing at bed time, I stopped sleepling with him last year when my puppy bit off his nose, but my mom called today to tell me she'd replaced it, so now he's ready for bed again!

Oh wow. I actually have one of these cuties. I had no idea that it had a heart, though. I got mine from a thrift store because it was adorable. When I got home I realized there was a mysterious 'pocket' in the side, but nothing else. I dressed him up in some cute clothes and used the 'secret pocket' to hide little things in like a dollar or some little trinket. I just called him my "secret bear".

Even if I'm all grown up, it's mine and I can't imagine giving him to anybody... I moved up a lot of time and he is the first thing I move and I'm always careful not to lost him. I think that if I have to start over a new life without any object he will be the only thing that I will kept. His name is nounours, he is my bear and I love him.

Looking for a replacement bear. My daughter was given one for Christmas in 1991. It never had a cap or sleep shirt. It was just a tan bear, with red on the four paws. They can be purchased on eBay. I purchased one to get parts to refurbish my sons bear as a gift for his first born.

My godmother bought me my heart to heart bear for Xmas in 1986 but she passed away a few days before being able to give it to me personally. So he is very special to me. I am 34 this month and still sleep with him. I'm glad I came across this as my husband thinks I'm too old to have a teddy bear. But after reading these posts I've seen so many who still sleep with their bears. I'm sure he's only jealous as he comes on every family holiday and even went on our honeymoon to Goa! I had a spare one once and the smaller version. Wish I'd have kept them both now as he's very worn.

How do I wash my Heart to Heart bear? Anybody have experience with this?

I was given my heart to heart bear on the 12/11/1983 as a new born baby boy, 33 1/2 years later it still sits pride of place on my bed, although the fur is a little worn after all the travels it made as a kid heart still beats, would never let it go

Got my Heart to Heart Bear as a gift, before I was born, in November of '86. My wife teases me because he still sleeps in my bed to this day, and I find myself cuddling him a lot not even noticing it when going to sleep. He's missing the fuzz ball on his hat, his heart has long since been lost and he has no PJ's anymore, but man do I love that bear.

I came across my sons heart to heart bear. In perfect condition. I washed his blue outfit. Perfect! The heart works perfectly. I have it to my daughter who is expecting her first child. My son is 31 years old.
