OMG! Nice one! I used to get these from the ice cream man or the dollar store. My cousins & I probably looked really stupid running around the neighborhood trying to hit each other with fake ice cream. I remember we'd get into trouble because these wars usually ended in tears -- someone would always go overboard & just throw the damn thing at someone else's face or something like that LOL.

oh these were ace my mum once bought them to go in my party bags and all the other kids at school loved them.Thanks mum i was well popular for months ater lol

My neighbor who was a good family friend would play little jokes on us and one day he sat at one of the chairs by our front door pretending to eat an ice cream cone. When we got close he made the ball pop out and we jumped. It was very funny (I was also about 9 or 10 years old lol). :)

I remember these!! One summer, ages ago, the Nickelodeon show Double Dare was on tour, and they came to Pittsburgh. I picked one of these up while watching DD, and my grandpa came walking up, so I pretended I was eating it. His mouth started to water, and I offered him a 'bite.' He leaned in, and I fired it right in his face. He had a few choice words for me. I thought it was funny as hell.
