I had one of these! There was a boy too, named Mikey, that my brother loved the heck out of. They were very well made and had soft huggable bodies and thick shiny hair. What terrific memories!

I looked on Ebay. There are plenty of them going for a wide variety of prices. The full name is My Friend Jenny and My Friend Mikey dolls.

They also had My Friend Becky (red hair) & My Friend Mandy (blonde)!

That's hysterical! My sisters and I each had one- until this second, I seriously thought we named them ourselves... haha

I love love loved my Jenny doll!!! I had this one and I had a little more baby like one that was soft and had an attached outfit that was red and blue plaid. I thought it was so cool that there was a pretty brown haired, browned eyed (like me) doll that shared my name. I remember it seemed like most of the dolls of the 80's were blonde - so a brunette doll was special. I too remember her friends Mikey and Mandy. I still have sweet little Jenny and look forward to sharing her with my daughter some day.

I have the Becky I got as a child, and later on as a collector my cousin, I think, found Mandy for me.

My favorite doll. I got the one from 1978 with the brown dress and shoes and straw hat. I had some of the other outfits for her too like the yellow soft rain jacket and hat. My mom sold her on me at a garage sale a few years back but was happy to find her on ebay again. I also have the Mandy doll too.

I had the Jenny doll (since I am a brunette) and loved her, but was always jealous of the blonde Mandy doll and wanted that one instead. What was I thinking?

I had one of these! I had Mandie Doll. I loved it. Bought another one a few years ago at a flea market I thought was called Jenny but guess not.

I had bought all 3 girl dolls in 1978. My daughter loved them-I saved them and now my granddaughter (4) is enjoying them. So thrilled to be able to find original outfits on ebay. Just got a My friend Mikey for a steal-$6.95 plus shipping. That's going to be her xmas present from Nannie-along with the home made bedding set I just made for him. Would like to find some outfits that aren't too expensive to make the gift even better.

I have all 4 dolls & lots of their clothes for my granddaughter. My daughter had them when she was young, back in the 70's and I kept them. I never had Mikey but got it on e-bay.
