I had this....Kit had a red-and-white checked shirt and overalls on...the horse didn't move by itself though, you had to pull it.

I had Kit and Kaboodle when I was very young. Kaboodle didn't last long though, but I had Kit till 1992...I think.

i had them and they are still alive and well at my mom's house. i remember you did something to the horse and he moved..the saddle rocked and his tail bobbed up and down.

OMG! I had this horse and I have been looking for it for almost 8 years now. I was 10 or so when I had it, and am 34 now. I had no idea there was a doll, I thought it was just the horse. Now I actually know what to look for! This site rules :-)

This toy was so great I still have mine and kaboodle still works.You pulled it back and let it go.When the horse was going it rocked kit as if she was really riding.When true value hardware store was closing down here they had a bunch of vintage toys in the back and they clearanced them out.I am the proud owner of a kit and kaboodle still in the box!One day my daughter will probably love this toy but for now I'm still protective of both.

I have this doll & horse set! I just got it out of the box the other day to give to my 5 year old. I've kept it for all these years and finally decided to pass it on. Hope she takes good care of it! :)

I also have this doll & horse. Was a childhood toy that I held on to. I always took care of my things so still in good shape and still works. I don't know why I keep it but I can't seem to let it go.
