WOW! made the first Lazer Tag!

My parents probably went through 8 grand in batteries after these came out....Awesome toy!

I remember seeing these really outrageous high production ads for Lazer Tag during movie previews in the theater. I thought it was SO cool. I had a Lazer Tag knock-off. I think it was called Laser Combat.

oh man i remember this. Lazer Tag was like...the "ultimate toy" that i just NEVER did end up getting. my best friend had it - and i got to play at his house, but it was just...never quite the same...the commercial showed red lazer beams shooting out of the gun...you can imagine my disappointment!! hahaah

Both my brother and I got this for christmas one year. Made my parents get the vests and spent birthday money on the book. I loved this toy. Ended all those "I GOT YOU" - "DID NOT" arguments. Never got the white rifle version though.

I totally forgot about these! It turns out my friend had a set of these years back and we used to play it. This is the one that would make a loud noise if you got hit right? I remember getting really mad whenever it called me out as being hit. Fun nevertheless.

Whoa! I still have my Lazer Tag. Does anyone know if it's worth anything?

I always wanted to play w/ one but never did....

I got the other version of laser tag when I was a kid. It had a big helmet and wasn't quite the same. One helmet was green and the other was red. It made a bomb exploding sound when you were shot three times. The only fun I had with it was in the dark.

I had 2 sets. one red helmet one green came together it had something that went over your chest. You had to shoot the person three times to kill them. Lots of outdoor fun.

I still have my LazerTag, but I think it was a knockoff...mine was just the weapon, and the target was a 360 dome on top. It still works and everything!

I had Photon and my brother had this. While Laser Tag was more popular, the Photon seemed to be a bit better. Both were "totally Rad"

Man they made an awesome sound when you shot them and the red light would fade on and off when you pulled the trigger. A "lazer dot" scope and a switch that flipped from a wide shot to a more narrow one. Expensive and fun.

I remember my older brother finally got this expensive toy....and then he had no one to play it with because none of his friends parents would buy it for their kids!

Loved this game, fun for the whole family. We had 3-4 sets of the real deal and my uncle and cousins would come over to our home in the country and we would divide into teams and play at night. The adults (my uncle and dad) had the big white guns and us kids had the smaller black ones. I remember hiding in the corn stalks and gettin hit. lol Sooo much fun!! I miss it.

I so remember the comercal for these. I had neighbor had a set but it was always on top of there shelvesd collecting dust. never saw thme play with it.

awesome if you had people to play with you...i was a lonely child lol

Me and brother got this one year, was very cool. Also was just a cool looking gun to use when playing star wars with neighborhood kids.

wow i cant believe i about forgot these! My brother and i got these for xmas 1 year and the game tag took on a whole new meaning. The following year i got that laser tag tower thing that doesnt take sides if you get near it, it just shoots whoever. Was great fun lol.

Does anybody know where i could buy a complete set from?

I had one....got it for Christmas and it didn't work out of the box....went to exchange it as a kid and there were 100's of people doing the same, once I got one that worked though all the kids in the neighborhood had a blast!
