Description
This was a lot like the Etch-a-Sketch. You erased the picture with a knob or the slider. There was a pen and it created pictures (through magnets) on the white space.

I had a magnadoodle when I was a kid. You didn't control the picture with a knob or the slider... that was used to erase. There was a pen and it created pictures (through magnets) on the white space.
Mine developed spots that you couldn't draw on but I still used it all the time.
I wonder if they all eventually developed those kind of spots... I know mine did too!
I had one and its so much better than etch a sketch.
This was my official "car trip toy." Mine looked much more primitive than the one pictured above. Just plain with a pen and one open circle magnet and a closed circle magnet. Mine also developed some spots that you couldn't draw on. MUCH better than etch-a-sketch.
Yeah I bet anyone who had their magnadoodle long enough developed spots on it. I think with enough pressure on the screen the magnetic stuff would get stuck. I'd just use it as part of my pictures :) Magnadoodles are super cool!

Great toy I loved it.
My daughter loves hers we get a new one every few months its used so much. Mine dident last long i used to stab it a lot.
I Had one and it kept breaking. My grandmother and my other grandmother and my mom got them for me. and everyone broke.
I liked playing with these, but I don't think I ever had one of my own.
This thing broke I got 3 as a christmas present at each of my grandparetns, cousins and my paretns every single 1 broke in within 2 days strangly eneouh/
I had the Magnadoodle when I was little and I played with one similar back when I was in school.
I had the blue Magnadoodle with the orange pen and orange circle thing. I would use it for hours and it did develop those spots but I still used it. I remember using that circle tool and making the whole board black and going over and over it to make it super dark lol!
I kept breaking this over and over again.
