I had Moppet Secret dollhouse and I thought it was the bomb!!! It was one of my favorite toys in the 80's!!

YES!! I had this doll too!! Man, how I loved playing with her. She had a friend with brown hair too. My mom still had her for my kids to play with someday, but.....their house flooded and all I have left is one of Moppet's shoes I found in the driveway covered in dirt. :o( I would love to see a photo of this doll house again if anyone has a picture to share???

My goodness, I have been looking for this toy since I last had it as a kid! I have no idea where it went!! She sat on the end table between my sisters and my bed for a long time. I loved this thing. My dolls dress was yellow though. I, too, would LOVE LOVE LOVE to see photos of this dollhouse ! Anyone know where I could buy one?

I have one! I just started doing some spring cleaning and retrived mine from my parents' house. It's a miracle but it seems I have all the pieces! The sticker around the fire place and bedroom tube are cracked (I am guessing from putting it together and taking it apart) - but other than that - it is a VERY cool toy and with the original box. I had this doll house too as, well as my sister and we played for hours with our moppet doll houses,we had spoke of it often but never could remember the name, it brings a smile to see this again after so many years and both of us having kids of our own. :0)

OMG!!! This dollhouse was one of my absolute favorite toys as a little girl! My grandma bought one for myself and my cousin one year for xmas. I never really played with the Moppet doll that much, but I used the house as an apartment for my Glamour Gals all of the time. My parents also had a flood and my mom had to throw the house out, but she still has some of the furniture including the cute green beanbag chair. Kimi - Don't sell it! Keep it for your daughter...they just don't make toys like this anymore....

I loved this! I actually caught my mom putting it together on Christmas Eve (I woke up and wanted to see if Santa had been to our house yet). She told me that if she had gone to bed like a good girl Santa would have put it together for her.

I just bought a baby moppets sugar cone from '81. The baby is wrapped up in a blanket & in the box it's exactly shaped like a ice cream cone with the blanket as the cone & the pillow behind her head is ice cream shaped. Does any1 remember these? "Baby moppets sugar cones" it's called.

remembering how much I wanted this, I mean WANTED this as a child helps me to relate to my 3 year old wanting to be a princess. I remember what it felt like to want something sooo desperately and BEG and BEG for a doll.

For years I thought I imagined this doll. I used to have one and loved it. I have never been able to locate one since.

I just took mine out of my parents' house for my 3.5 year old daughter to play with. She loves it! I still had all the pieces, but one of the little yellow plates has gone missing in the one day since it has been in my house.

Julie...I seriously thought the same thing. I remembered having a dollhouse on a sort of a lazy season, but I don't remember the dolls at all. I used the house for my Dolly Pops! (remember those?) I played with my cousins and remember it well. A very cute compact doll/house. If it was made today I'd buy it for my little girl. I recently found the green bean bag chair amoung Barbie items at a yard sale. I looked up the green chair and discovered this toy- I forgot all about it. I have the moppets secret nursery. All of the furniture is there as well as the doll. unfortunately the skirt is gone. My doll hose has a cradle on the top that the skirt hung off of.

I honestly thought I was the only one who remembered, yet loved loved loved this doll/dollhouse. It was my fave besides the barbie dream house with the pull string elevator. I believe my mom got rid of it at a garage sale when I was a kid by mistake and I have been looking for one ever since. I am glad to see this toy touched so many people as it did me. I dont know if anyone is still interested in a moppets secret dollhouse, but I have mine from when I was a small girl. I actually never played with it, my mother took it apart and stored it in its original box. All of the pieces are still there. it is 100% complete. I also have the dolls that went with it. I think their names were like missy, mindy, molly...one had a skateboard, and the other had luggage and nightgown. the one had a baby stroller and little baby. she was mindy the babysitter. The friends are listed on ebay for like $125.00. I still have them unopened in their original packages. Does anyone know if this was the only dollhouse under the dress like this ? I had one in the 80's but it had more of a vintage style to it, for instance there was a rocking chair and an old style gas lamp in the bedroom. I don't recall the modern tv etc. I'd really like to buy it again but trying to find the correct model, any help appreciated.

I bought the moppet nursery last year, it was unopened in the box and cost me a fortune my partner and I both put it together xmas morning. I also have the sugar cone doll in yellow. Yes, that was quick thank you so much Linda, it's the Holly Hobby one I had. See I entered a competition there was on tv to win one as I really wanted it, my dad laughed at me when I didn't win it but guess what that Christmas there it was under the tree ! Sadly as an army brat when we moved from the area, my folks gave away most of our toys and books to a childrens home, a good cause yes but I lost this amongst it. So now thanks to Linda I'll try to replace it. Merry Christmas.
