I used a small tape recorder to record the sound the chubble made, then used it for an oral book report. In the book report, I had a stuffed raccoon on my shoulder and I asked it questions, and it would reply with the chubbles sound. It really sounded like a sound a raccoon would make if a raccoon made a sound. ANYWAY that was in 5th grade.

I had one of these, it was called a Burble.

It was a Chiggles. They were the friends of the Chubbles. Holy crap... I have been looking for the name of that thing forever. I still have mine but it doesn't work anymore. I called him my 'monster eater' when I was little because I would pretend that when he made noise that he was eating any ghosts or monsters in our house.

They are not chiggles or chuddles they are chootles! I had one too! I had a hard time finding it because I spelled it choodle also. But I just searched chiggle in Google out of desperation and in the images for chiggles was a chootle! They had rubbery plastic faces with big bulbous noses that lit up and made the weird sound! I lovvvved mine! They aren't sound activated though they were light sensors they had little dots on their chest that sensed light and when it got dark they lit up.

I still have mine, the tag says moon light chootle. It makes a beep sound now & doesn't light anymore, he's old, lol!
