Description
Seems like in the early 80s, every baby had a version of the pretzel-shaped teething ring. Usually translucent red or yellow in color, nubby on the outside and filled with a liquid that could be frozen to help cool & soothe tender gums. They had a wonderfully sweet, highly addictive scent to them, and if you were a "big kid" you would get in BIG trouble with the grown-ups for bringing some baby's pretzel teether too close to your nose for one good, deep whiff.

I had a pretzel teether as a baby, but mine was plain white. I don't think it was the new fangled freezable kind. ( I was a 70's baby ).

Yeah, mine was a dusty pink w/ bumpies for "salt". It was made of a resin/plastic semi-hard rubbery like material.
