I had Quints! Brunettes..

My sister and I had some different sets of these I think...they were always Barbie's 'babies'. We didn't play Barbies the same as other kids, I guess.

"Quints. Quints...I love taking care of all of you!" I remember the commercial. Never had the dolls though. My very best friend and I would play with her Quints and her peeing Baby Alive.

Mine were the Barbie's babies as well! I had the house and everything. I loved Quints!

i love Quints! currently i have about 48 quint-dolls. and still adding to it. im looking for the little babies, but not the white ones, i have those. i need the black babies... no idea on where to get those tho... i have a few boxes full of accesoires, still looking for the house :-D

Oh my god i so remember Quints i never had them but my little sister did she had so many tiny bits n bobs for them, when we used to play barbies we used them for there babies teehee! she still has them believe it or not and she`s 21 now!

I totally remember these because they lasted for a while. There was a first version where the babies had chubbier faces and came in a house made out of the same stuff as three ring binders, haha. I got the second version, also the white babies with blonde hair, but totally different looking than my sisters. They game with playground set which was pretty fun. I remember getting frustrated when the babies couldn't "play" that well on the equipment though, haha.

Haha I'd forgotten about these and it didn't click until I saw the picture! I think a friend or cousin of mine got these and I ended up with a couple of them. They ended up being Barbie's babies.

OMG!! I had like 3 sets of quints and a BUNCH of accesories. I used to take them everywhere, and I left them in someones car once, (it was my moms b/f at the time and he didn't want his other girlfriend to see them so he threw them out.. my mom told me later)But I would still have them if I hadn't lost them. I have a 2 year old daughter now, and I would love to have them back for her. I do have my Polly Pockets for her though.. the tiny ones, not those newer big ones. WHat a walk down memory lane.

I remember the advertising jingle from when I was five!! I told the kids I nanny it and they say it all the time now!! I had the red haired summer fun set that came with little birds in baskets. I still remember my mum wouldn't buy them for me but my granny did.

I still have two sets of quints - brunettes with freckles, and blonde ones that had little levers on their backs to make them do different actions e.g. one would wiggle its head side to side, one nodded, one shook its head, one moved both arms and one raised one arm. i also have a bedtime set of little robes and sleeping bags PLUS I still have my quints playground! 5 swings, sandpit, etc etc. Amazing.

I had a set of blondes, that came in a sleeping bag made to sleep 5. I remember pouring over the list of name suggestions that came with them.

I had the caucasian ones.

I had them and their house. I remember their numbers on their diapers and the accessories that were, thankfully attached in sets of 5. I also had their triplet cousins "Quints cousins, one, two, three, the three coolest cousins you will ever see"

i had the white ones that wet their nappies and the ones with the leavers on their backs i also had the bathroom set and park set i loved them does any one no where i can buy them now?

There are numerous websites that still sell some accessories - especially in the UK. Just enter quints 1980s into any search and you will find plenty of sites.

My sister (the blonde batch) and I (brunettes) had them,with a 5 baby crib. Now I passed them along to my daughter. We also used them as Barbies babies.

I had a set of them that I loved (they were blonde). I don't have my originals anymore, but I do have some blonde ones I found at the thrift store and a MIB set of black haired ones and a MIB tricycle. They are the sweetest!

I always got a kick out of being able to take care of them simultaneously with the neat accessories that were attached to each other :) Like the spoons & bowls...the bottles...the baby powder...if only it could be that easy with real life multiples! (I've got quadruplet cousins, & they were NOT as easy to babysit as the quints lol)

I absolutely loved my quints! Had the blonde set until my cousin chewed the arms!!! Then got the brunette set. Also had the house, bath set, five little cats, kitchen set and still have the Little Golden Book. I have fond memories of te quints!

I don't know if I had the soft dolls but I had a house that had multiple levels and a balcony and the roof would pop open. Where the roof and house connected there was a little white heart and on top of the roof was a plastic ring. It was kind of a smallish house. WAS THIS A QUINTS HOUSE??? I have been trying to figure it out for years!!

From what you are describing, it like that is their house, Sara :). OMG I had several accessories to go with the dolls and their cousins. I used to play with them for hours. Such great fun!

This was such a neat toy, and I remember going to Toys R Us to buy them. I loved naming them, and all the accessories they had to go with them. So much cooler than today's dolls.

My sister and were hopeless Quint collectors as kids. We had a TON of them...the blonde, brunette, black haired, AND babies. We, too, used them as children for our Barbies. I would actually carry mine around with me and play with them in other places (I was a bit wierd). I've tried to find them again because my friend's little girl is turning 2 in a few days and she would LOVE them, but I can't find them. It makes me wish I'd somehow kept all my old Quints.

Okay, I was at a swap meet with my mom when I was about six and I had my Quints in my pocket and then I couldn't find one. I was freaking out and yelling, "Mom, I lost Trudy!!! I lost Trudy!!!" and some guy came over and thought I lost a real little kid. It was pretty funny. And Trudy was still in my pocket.

I loved these. Mine had blond hair I had two boys I named Jack(blue) and Tommy (green) and three girls I named Melinda (yellow), Melissa(purple)and (I can't remember the red one's name). I wanted to get all their accessories, but never did. I only had their bed and feeding set.

Oh I LOVED Quints! I had three sets, the playground, and a bunch of other stuff. One was a drink & wet set with little diapers.

I LOVED them! I had the playground, the merry go rounds, the bathtub, the robes all those accessories! I even remember what I named them: Pinky, Peter, Linda, Danny and Marie! God I miss them! I used to store them in my Treasure Trolls carrying Case!

I loved these! I was very little when I got these as a Christmas present. I didn't realize they were so popular! I had little blonde ones and I would carry them in my pocket or my purse. they were MY babies!

Heck yes, I had these. I only had the original set (the dolls, diapers, bottles, and the plastic green thing that held them). I loved tiny dolls like this when I was young.

These were one of my favorites! I think I used them as Barbie's kids too. :) I think I got 2 sets at some point.

we've just emptied our attic and have just came across my whole collection of quints!! i have got box's full of them, new borns, babies, cousin's, animals the house, clothes and loads of accessories, the only problem now is im moving out and don't know if to sell them???

i had the quints fanny pack ! i always wanted the dolls but my mom alwasy said I would loose them so she wouldn't but them for me. She would also never buy me the playground kids either.

I still have my Quints and their playsets, house etc , but never had the Kitten playset, so i have just bought it off ebay. These were truly some of my favourite dolls ever.

My best friend had the entire set, house and all! I think she had the blonde ones. I wanted them so bad! I did manage to get the cats and dogs with their food bowls.

Wow, I had these but I had no clue there were so many different playsets and accessories. I kind of feel like I missed out now. Still, I loved what little I had. My quints were the blond set that had molded-on diapers and came with a sleeping bag and bottles, and the only additional playset I had for them was the rocking horse one. I eventually unsnapped all the horses from the base so my quints could have free-ranging cowboy adventures! Ah, good memories.

I loved my quints, too! I had the blonde set plus the swimming pool and rocking chair, and their calendar is still in a drawer in my room. I also loved writing stories about them, and their names were Pinky, Bluey, Yellowy, Greeny, and Purpley. (kind of weird, right? at least you people had normal names) It's cool to find out other people share their quints stories, too.

I had these when i was a little girl. I loved them so much i made my mom save all of the. We have recently rediscovered them from her basement and now my kids get to play with them. Excert i was always so careful with all my toys, i had every peice to all the accessories that i have, and im always going " be careful dont loose them!" I guess it is time to let go.

Yes I too had the Quints Bought in 1935 They come with a Box That also had Nurse init. I have 5 different set of clothes Also the glass baby bottles. the nipple part of course is no longer there

This taught me how to count to five

I had the house and every accessory going for the quints. My mum have ours away from what's can remember....gutted now I have a 3 yr old girlie.....who knew just how valuable they would become? I had the Quints brunette set when I was a kid. I remember having their house, swing set, & a few accessories - but I was never aware that there were triplet cousins to collect, or so many different accessories! I think I sold most of my Quints at a yard sale when I was 6 or 7 years old (I'm 27 now), but I'd love to know if they're worth anything. If I still have any Quints items left, I'll probably give them to my 4-year-old niece or sell whatever she doesn't want.
