Yeah. My mom had to buy a new Slinky every time I messed one up. Sometimes, it wouldn't get tangled. It would just get to the point that 1-3 "slinks" would not be evenly spaced like the other "slinks". At this point, I wasn't able to do the "Slinky-Down-The-Stairs" trick!
loved this toy so much I named my grey striped kittycat Slinky! I mostly just liked shaking it and making the slink-slink-slink noise.
p.s. I shook the toy, not the cat :)

i love the slinky i always used to get it tangled and then get it untangled. yes i can untangle a slinky. :)

Ha! I did it too and with little to no deformation. Now I am the Slinky Master. :)

my cousin and i always use race our sliver slinky down stairs when visting our grandma and we audtion for the slinky comerical no we didnt get the roles
i had one of these. they always got all bent up and tangled up and you ended up throughing them out
I had a plastic purple Slinky, mine got all tangled up and when I tried to untangle it, it broke, probably because mine was the plastic version. I could never get it to go down stairs that well either.
These were always fun. I discovered that they would stretch ALLLLLLLL THE WAAAAAAYYYY across the room. Then...not so much fun anymore... :P
Who didn't own a Slinky? My sister and I had many. We broke many.
I had many of these in rainbow colours and one in green I think. My sister and I used to let them go down the stairs and we drove our mum mad with it. Mine alway got bent and out of shape after a while but thy were cheap enough to replace good times back then.
I had a few Slinkys in my day. It seemed like no matter how hard you tried to take care of them, they inevitably got irrevocably twisted! Fun while they lasted, though!
remeber the slinky comercal? slinky slinky slinkys a woner full toy. it walks down stairs and makes slinkity sound. its fun f9oir a girl and a boy. everyone wants a slinky. you got tohave a slinky. somethng like that lol!
Plastic Slinkys.....not that much fun....nothing beats the sound of one of those very large metal slinkys......going from hand to hand......

I hate that these things tarnish as time goes by.
What I've noticed with the metal Slinkys is that they tarnish over time.
