I had about 5 of these. Cant remember a tv show but the holograms were ace

i remember the show with the leader that had the lion holo. and the animals would come to life

I didn't collect the toys when I was younger (Masters of the Universe ruled the roost) but I did watch the cartoon. It was awesome and, even nowadays,is still fun to watch. The good guys often had attitude (as opposed to the typical goody two-shoes superhero types) although Leoric didn't really question authority. THe sizard merklynn was neutral and sometimes rude to the spectral knights. He would often bribe or threaten the Spectral Knights or Darkling lords to go on a quest for him to get certain items for him. The bad guys were insane. Cravex (voiced by the guy that did Cobra commander) flew into violent rages attacking his own crew and destroying stuff. One fo the few cartoons where they actually showed good guys/bad guys hitting one another when they fought (as opposed to a character swinging at the screen and showing hisadversary reel back in the next shot). Take that 80's watchdog committees!!!! Although I didn't own the toys I remember they well made and had highly detailed holograms. I wish now that I had collected them!

I remember that the only thing I liked about this show was that Cravex's voice was the guy who did cobra commander and star scream. How many jobs did that guy have at one time? I think he died this year? Well peace out guy who did those voices.

I didn't own any of the figures and didn't see the cartoon when it was originally aired (I have seen some on Youtube since) but had a few issues of the comic. Like Crystar, it was pretty good!

I had almost the whole collection of these as a kid. i think I was only missing one vehicle which was the biggest one. I like them because they were poseable like GI Joes but bigger. I also recall each side having a female in the cartoon but never made into toys.

The Supernaturals were way better!
