OMG!!!! I have been searching high and low for this doll. I was about 8 when I got it and have ALWAYS remebered exactly what she and the *fish* looked like...what the fur on the *fish* felt like..and the SUPER ADORABLE face of the doll. I am 28 now. Even after all these years, just thinking about them gives me a warm fuzzy feeling. I have probably been searching the internet for about 3 years now and have had absolutely no luck. Which was quite depressing. Until recently. I was given some pictures by my grandmother and I was flipping thru them. I almost *screamed* when I came across a photo of me holding *the box*. A HUGE feeling of closure came over me....finally I knew what *they* were called. And here I am writing about these dolls. *cannot wait to purchase them online somewhere*

Yes, I remember these too. I loved mine so much, it went everywhere with me. Mine was aqua color with crazy aqua hair. I remember the ears looked like shells. humm.. I don't remember the matching animal. wonder if I lost it or something.

Please if any one knows how I can find Wonder Whims. On my 5th Christmas I received on of these dolls from my mom. It was my favorite toy my whole life. I have kept her and her fury friend in great condition. Despite mt house fire where I lost everything she is still sitting next to me now. Please I have made it my life goal to collect them all for my little girl.

i agree with jenn on the feeling i got when i finally figured out the name of these dolls! im am also 28 and none of my friends my age had any idea what i was talking about when i tried to describe it. i can picture myself in the toy store picking this toy out, i had the yellow guy with the owl, i remember i liked him because he looked like David Bowie, and i liked his videos when mtv was new. I can sleep soundly tonight know the name of this doll, now i need to find one for sale and ill be all set!

I always loved them and I took it everywhere with me. I had totally forgot about them until o found a box of my old toys in my grandmothers basement. I had not gone through the box just brought it home to rifle through later. Then this morning my 18 month old son and his natural curiosity came out of his bedroom hugging the doll!! I almost died when I saw it!! Brought back so many memories!!

OH MY GOSH! This doll, I used to call it Shadow and his friend Rambunctious!! Not sure if it's their real names, though, cause I'm francophone, maybe we got the wrong thing for a name ;) I'm so sad my dad threw them out... I sure would have shared them with my own kids! Sherlyndrea xx
