Songs from the Eighties That Have Been In Commercials, Products Beginning with E
Well, it was bound to happen, and it has been happening now for a while, Commercials bleeding the memory of the eighties, for music. The first one I remember is "Like A Rock" and then "Born in the USA." Now it's food items. What's next? I'd love to hear your recomendations. Please limit it to TELEVISION Commercials though. Radio stations usually mix in background music with spoken ads by the DJ's and the music tends to be used in both radio and television versions of most Commercials eventually.

Used to promote the 2005 NFL season. The ad showed cars with NFL bumper stickers.

Completely different words ("Prices too tough to beat, Eastgate Chryler-Jeep) and a raspy studio singer together with former light-heavyweight champion Marvin Johnson and that smug owner = another sucky car ad.

Used to promote the bagel chain's new paninis.

Electric Youth Perfume by Debbie Gibson, using Debbie Gibson's, "Electric Youth"
Natural Wonder Cosmetics used Debbie Gibson's "Electric Youth" to promote her fragrance of the same name. They also used the album cover to EY on all of the advertising.
Emery, using Dolly Parton's, "9 To 5"
Used in their "It's Good as There" campaign.
Esso Gas, using Survivor's, "Eye of the Tiger"
This ad in the U.K. only, as well.
Esurance, using What I Like About You's, "The Romantics"
Eurotel - Go, using The Clash's, "Should I Stay Or Should I Go"
Czech cellphone operator, I can't say the music don't pass the commercial.
Extra Gum, using Human League's, "Fastination"
But a song...nothing.
