Food of the Eighties, Products Beginning with K

I've been asked a couple of times for information about what food was specific to the 80s, so I've started a small list which I'm sure will grow pretty rapidly. Cereals of the 80s have their own page.

This list contains items that were around before and after the 80s, I'm looking for stuff that was still popular in the 80s. So this list will contain items that were around in the 70s, and maybe earlier if they were still popular.

Please note! Zima and clear colas were a 90s fad, not an 80s fad! I know it might seem like a long time ago, but that's only because they tasted so awful and were marketed so heavily. (Somehow, Zima still persists, though no one has determined why).

KFC Chicken Littles
They are the size and shape of Krystals or Whilt Castle Burgers. Little chicken patties on little buns with mayo and a pickle. I loved to put cole-slaw and ketchup on them. I think they came out around '86.
Keebler Butter Pretzel Twists
Two pretzel sticks twisted together and had a great buttery flavor.
Keebler Elfin' Loaves
These were mini bite sized loaves of bread that you popped in the microwave or toaster oven. The banana bread was scrumptious!
Keebler Krunch Twists
Twisted nacho cheese flavored snack.
Kelly Pops
These were the originals! Otter Pops came second. They were plastic tubes filled almost all the way with flavored juice then you freeze them and you would cut off the top and it eat like a push-up
Kentucky Fries
Sold by KFC in the 80s, replaced by shoestring potatoes, then resurrected and re-christened as it's current name "Potato Wedges".
Kentucky Nuggets
Kentucky Nuggets were, of course, KFC's version of McNuggets. Their horseradish sauce was about the same strength as today's Arby's "Horsey" sauce.
Kick-a-poo
It was a soda, similar to a Mountain Dew.
Kids Cuisine
These came out in the mid-80s. I never ate them but I would feed them to my little brother when I babysat. They smelled so bad and looked worse. I used to feed them to my kids but can't bring myself to do that to them any longer. YUCK!!!
King Vitaman
Breakfast cereal shaped like crowns. It tased a lot like Captain Crunch.
Klondike Bar
Vanilla ice cream inside a thin, hard chocolate shell. Square-shaped. Wrapped in foil.
Knudsen Cheesecake Dessert
A dairy case item and off-shoot of pre-stirred yogurt, these scrumptuous 4-oz cups had a gelatinized cream cheese mixture with a moist graham cracker crust and sour cream topping. They came in only a few flavors, including strawberry and blueberry. Rather like a lite mousse and reminiscent of Cool Whip in the sixties. We haven't seen them since the '80.
Koala Springs Cola
Around the "Crocodile Dundee" time, when everything Australian was cool. Basically a syrupy pop with flavors like mango-passion fruit and stuff. Once in a while you can still come across it. I showed it to an Australian and he couldn't believe how cheesy it is.
Koala Yummies
Little bite size cookies filled with chocolate fuge.
Koo Koo
A long flat strip of chewy taffee (pink, white and brown) It came covered in a waxy piece of paper.
Kraft Toffee's
I miss them, 4 flavours: Rum & Butter, Coffee ?( I think), Chocolate and Original in red, green, gold and brown tootsie roll shaped packaging ...
Kraunchers Potato Chips
Tasted like "Cape Cod Chips" only they can in flavors such as Jalapeno, and Barbecue.
Krispy Kritters
This was a breakfast cereal in the shape of small animals, like tiny animal crackers. Mid-80's. One time came with a Krispy Kritters golden book. Still have it.
Kudos
Chocolate covered chewy granola bars in flavors like chocolate chip and cookies 'n' cream
