Food of the Eighties, Products Beginning with V

I've been asked a couple of times for information about what food was specific to the 80s, so I've started a small list which I'm sure will grow pretty rapidly. Cereals of the 80s have their own page.

This list contains items that were around before and after the 80s, I'm looking for stuff that was still popular in the 80s. So this list will contain items that were around in the 70s, and maybe earlier if they were still popular.

Please note! Zima and clear colas were a 90s fad, not an 80s fad! I know it might seem like a long time ago, but that's only because they tasted so awful and were marketed so heavily. (Somehow, Zima still persists, though no one has determined why).

Square-ish mints with flavor crystals.
Vernors ginger-ale
The best and strongest ginger-ale i ever tasted !!
Vesta food
Vesta was a popular food item in our house in the mid eighties. It was basically a forerunner of the microwave dinner thing but none of us had a microwave. It was freeze dried Chinese food or Indian food...I remember being violently ill after eating the most sickly chow mein with these weird noodles that you fried in oil and they puffed up in the pan..gross... I didn't eat chinese food again for almost 20 years because I thought it was how all chinese food tasted..
Vienna Bars
I believe these were from Betty Crocker. Made from a box-mix they had a taste that was rather unique and unlike anything currently available. Solid base with a chewy middle and crisp top. Taste was like a mix of brown sugar and coconut.
Volcano Rocks
Wonka candy that pre-dated nerds (I think), small nerd-shaped candy bits, came in mixed primary colors, had a less sugary flavor than nerds.
